Rich Frascella

Rich Frascella is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Tri-Shield Security & Protection Services. A retired Detective Lieutenant from the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, Rich brings more than 25 years of law enforcement and investigative leadership to the company.

Throughout his career, Rich led several of Mercer County’s most critical public safety initiatives. He commanded the Mercer County Homicide Task Force, overseeing all homicide and suspicious death investigations in the region, and directed the Narcotics Task Force’s Special Investigations Unit, targeting mid- to upper-level drug trafficking organizations. He also served as Coordinator for the Mercer County Child Abduction Response Team (C.A.R.T.) and was assigned as a Task Force Officer to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Newark.

Rich has been a certified firearms instructor, a Shoot House tactical instructor, and a police academy educator, earning numerous awards and commendations for his investigative excellence. He has been qualified as an expert witness in narcotics investigations in both state and federal courts.

In addition to his leadership at Tri-Shield, Rich is a licensed New Jersey Private Investigator and owner of R.J. Frascella Private Investigations, specializing in school residency investigations across Mercer and Burlington Counties.
